Q. How do we become part of the family?
If you would like to join our family, please get in touch via phone, email, or social media. We will then arrange a meet & greet with you either at your home or on a walk.
Q. What services do you offer & what are the costs?
We offer a range of services from walking to pet sitting, which is found on our BOOK NOW page along with adventure costs.
Q. Will you walk my dog in all weathers?
We will go on adventures as long as it is safe to do so. We might change our route due to weather conditions (In the scorching sunshine we will only walk in the shaded woods)
Q. What hours do you offer in the day?
Here at Paws Adventures, we understand not everyone likes to go on adventures at the same time. We try to be as flexible as we can with the odd early & evening walks with our light-up collars.
Q. What kind of adventures will my dog go on?
We know how important going on an Adventure can be so we try to mix it up and venture to different places. (check out our Adventure Gallery page).
Q. How many dogs do you walk in a pack?
Our family members' wellbeing is very important to us, we will only walk up to 4 dogs on an adventure. However, on occasion, we may walk together with another pack walker & pack of no more than two dogs. (6 in total).
Q. How do I cancel an Adventure?
Ideally, we would hope for 24 hours' notice. However, we do understand that this may not be possible. cancellation fees will be on a case-by-case basis. Please see our Terms & Conditions for Cancellations.
Q. How will you keep my keys safe?
This is entirely your choice you can either set up a safe key box at your home or you can provide us with a key that will be stored in a regulated key box in a locked secure location.
Q. How will you store my personal information?
Our GDPR terms and conditions are included in our Welcome Pack and are available on request. Our online booking service, Android, and iOS applications are all GDRP compliant and your personal data is secure.
Q. Will the adventures be on or off lead?
All Adventures will be on the lead, to begin with, when we feel it is safe we will introduce off-lead adventures.
Q. If I go on holiday and leave my dogs at home, can you walk them?
Unfortunately not. However, we offer a pet sitting service.
It is a requirement for you to have in place a suitable environment for your pets to be cared for. It is against the law to simply leave your dogs at home without supervision whilst you go away.
Q. Will, I meet my new dog walker?
Yes, you will meet Lisa our Pack Leader at the meet & greet she will introduce you to your new walker.
Q. Do you offer upgrades or extensions to the walk or boarding?
Yes, we are very flexible and can accommodate additional time as long as we know about it in good time.
Q. What prompted you to do dog-walking and Pet Sitting?
Lisa has been walking family and friends dogs for over 10 years and decided it made sense to work full time.
Q. What do you do in case of emergency?
We will call you (the client) to discuss the situation and to sort out the best plan of action. If you cannot be reached and medical attention is required, we will take your pet to the vet designated by you or the nearest to our current location.
